Box Rollers
TheBox Rollers features a robust housing with rollers arranged in both the X and Y planes to ensure reliable guidance of tangentially moving products. It is available in a range of dimensions, offering different opening window sizes and roller configurations to suit a variety of applications. Rollers can be supplied in several materials, including HX (hardened steel cylinders with a hard chromium coating), plastic cylinders, and tungsten carbide rollers for demanding environments. Special versions of the Roller Box offer adjustable opening windows, providing flexibility for different product diameters. Aluminium housings are also available for applications where low weight and reduced inertia are important, such as in rotating installations.

Iris Cross
The Iris Cross guide system is designed specifically for round products like wires, cables, hoses, and tubes. It features four rollers that close inward symmetrically, much like the iris of an eye, ensuring that the product is precisely centered. This system maintains the centerline of the product, providing stability and accuracy.

Roller Cross
Roller Crosses differ from standard roller guides by incorporating additional rollers mounted on a roller block set at 90 degrees to the guiding plane. This perpendicular arrangement enables precise product positioning and control in two axes, making them ideal for demanding guiding applications. Subec’s Roller Crosses are engineered with precision and offered in a wide range of configurations. They feature roller materials and designs tailored to specific operating conditions. Designed with user efficiency in mind, these guides provide quick and easy size adjustments, repeatable and accurate settings, and precise alignment to minimise scrap and improve consistency.y

Rotary Guide Units
Rotary Guide Units (RGUs) are designed to center and guide moving products such as wires, tubes, or cables. They feature two rollers or V-grooved pulleys, mounted on shafts that are positioned perpendicularly to the product’s line direction. This configuration allows the unit to swivel around the product, aligning the rollers symmetrically with the centerline. As the top roller moves down against the product, the lower roller moves up, creating a centered guiding window. The rollers or pulleys are typically mounted on a rotating disc, allowing manual rotation for setup and locking into position during operation. The guide window remains fixed once adjusted. Some RGUs feature built-in springs that let the rollers briefly widen the opening for splices or lumps, then return to position. Advanced setups can link multiple units via a shaft system for simultaneous adjustment with one or two handles.
