Manufacturing with Solar Power – Subec 2025 Energy Overview

In 2025 Subec produced 52.8 MWh of renewable electricity from solar panels installed on the roof of our production facility.

Around 34 MWh of this energy was used directly in our manufacturing, powering CNC machines, lathes and other production equipment.

This means that 26% of the electricity used in our factory was generated by our own solar installation.

Surplus energy of 18.8 MWh was delivered back to the public grid.

The investment in solar energy is part of Subec’s ambition to operate as a responsible and energy-efficient manufacturer while continuing to supply high-precision equipment for the wire and cable industry.
