Description
Roller Cross #19211 consists of two black-oxidized steel blocks equipped with 4x Ø40 mm rollers and a 90 mm opening, allowing a maximum product diameter of 90 mm. The defining feature of this roller cross is the use of carbon-filled PTFE roller cylinders. PTFE provides naturally low friction and strong anti-stick properties, enabling smooth sliding contact and gentle product handling. The addition of carbon improves wear resistance and dimensional stability compared to unfilled PTFE, resulting in more consistent performance over time. Compared to standard HRX rollers with surface-hardened and hard-chrome-plated steel cylinders, the PTFE-based rollers are selected where low friction, anti-stick behavior, and reduced surface interaction with the product are the primary requirements.
